The "first show" post got me thinking. I saw about 75 shows or so since 1984. In that time I only got 3 Morning dew's but yet I got 3 performances of the rare Nobody's fault But Mine, especially after it was brought back. Goes to show you never can tell with these guys I guess.

Out of my 30 or so, I saw 2 or 3 Dews, 0 Dark Stars, and 1 St. Stephen: http://www.archive.org/details/gd1983-10-15.fob.senn441.silberman.miller.93751.sbeok.flac16

Go straight to Space (with a gun-slinging theme not quite a Spanish Jam but almost closer to Bolero) and you'll hear the crowd explode during the opening notes.

Someone correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe that they opened with "China Cat" only five times. I was in attendance for three of them, I think the best one was 1979-10-31.

It is odd. I saw about 55 shows - about 50 between 79-81 and a handful after that. Like you I caught 3-4 Dews, but I never saw Lazy Lighning and I never saw Must Have Been The Roses, which was always a personal favorite.
